A Christmas Memory from 1997

This easy going film about Christmas movie made for TV by Hallmark. The reviews are not that brilliant but as this is an Alabama blog we write about all movies that were filmed in Alabama.
The Tv film was made in 1997 and directed by Glenn Jordan and the story is written by Truman Capote.

There is also early version made 1966.

This Emmy award winning movie was recorded in Marks House – 890 Old Carter Hill Road, Pike Road, Alabama, USA. Frank Perry is the Director and Truman Capote did the story.
It’s a very simple film but still a film they should show every Thanksgiving. Some of the actors are Geraldine Page, Truman Capote, Neil Fitzgerald and Michael Kearney.

To record the movie inside the house they had to make a hole in the floor so the camera could come from downstairs and see the living room. Children should not see this movie alone parents should be presents. But it’s a good movie about Alabama almost 50 years ago.
