The Cracker Man was a 1 hour movie that was directed by award winning Rudy Gaines. The film was released in 1999 and recorded in Alabama. I am not sure exactly where in Alabama the filming took place though. The movie however won the Best Feature Film for Rudy Gaines and Crystal Heart Award for Bruce Kuerten and John DiJulio the writers of the film. The cast of the film is rather unknown but they still perform some acceptable acting skills. The movie also features many beautiful scenes from Alabama where toy get to see a beautiful nature and a stunning landscape.
The actors in the movie are mostly amateurs from Alabama something which is actually cool since the movie is filmed only on Alabama’s earth. The story is about a lonely girl which hires a firecracker salesman on her great-grandfather’s 100th birthday. Romance starts to grow between the young girl and the salesman. Her great grand dad is getting older and she start to realize that he will die very soon. The movie is funny, sad and dramatic in the same time and should be worth 60 minutes of your time, especially if you come from Alabama.

The P.A.C.K was directed by Bryan Todd and written by David A. Prior and Michael W. Evans Jr. The film was released in 1997 but it was a huge letdown from other movies which was written by David A. Prior. The movie was filmed in Mobile, Alabama, USA like most of David A. Prior’s movies. The cast in this film is pretty unknown and actually pretty inexperienced actors. Sandahl Bergman plays the main role as Rachael and Ted Prior plays a evil robot sent from another plant to kill everything he see (T-7043). It is easy to see that they had en extremely low budget for this movie and the plot and the cast is really bad.
The story is about a UFO that crashes in the Alabama forest and out from the UFO jumps Ted Prior, known in the film as the killer robot T-7043. T-7043 then walks around in the forest shooting at everything he sees and there is only a sheriff and his crew who is able to stop is crazy killing machine. If they cant disable the machine within 30 days the whole Ted Prior cyborg blows up and the explosion will be to big that it will blow up all of Alabama.

Southern Heart is a action /comedy /drama movie directed by Peter DeLuise. The film was released on 22 October 1999. The filming took place in Mentone, Alabama, USA. The film was an okay success but the cast is very unfamiliar. The director Peter DeLuise and his writer Emily Carpenter plays in the movie together with Jason Horgan. It is not often that the Director and the writer plays in their own movie, but this is an exception. The film also captures a lot of beautiful landscape in Alabama this is a great plus in our book and a beautiful sight indeed.
This film touched many people hearts and, in all ages and even though the actors, were not very well known, the viewers loved it. The story is beautiful and touching and I simply love the way they show Alabama, it really makes me want to visit Alabama and look at the beautiful and stunning landscape Alabama has to offer. The movie is a little bit cheesy and maybe they have put to much love into it, but overall its good and a movie I recommend at my strongest. Never has Alabama been more beautiful then this that is for sure.

Palmers Pick up was directed by Christopher Coppola which is a rather unknown biker/director. The filming of the movie took place in Alabama but I cannot say exactly where. The cast of the film is mixed, some are complete amateurs and some are at a slightly higher level. In the main role as Bruce Palmer we have Robert Carradine. Other actors from the cast are Richard Hillman, Patrick Kilpatrick, Rosanna Arquette and Talia Shire.
The film is supposed to be a comedy but it is not funny not even once. I thought the movie was trying to be a mixture of Pulp Fiction, a road trip film, Dumb and Dumber, and the Prophecy. That may sound cool but believe me it is not because it really does not work well together.
I would not recommend the movie simply because of a bad plot which is only confusing and not funny. This was really a failure and it’s a shame that the film was recorded in Alabama. They don’t even show some of the beautiful landscape Alabama has to offer. One of the main reasons I love movies from Alabama is simply because of the environment and the stung nature most of the movies which are filmed there uses but this one don’t show much.

Hostile Intent was directed by Oscar nominated Jonathan Heap and written by Manny Coto. The film was released on 22 August 1997. The movie was filmed several places but most importantly in Alabama. I am not sure exactly where in Alabama this movie was filmed though. The movie got a rather unknown cast with Rob Lowe as an exception. Award winning Rob Lowe did however a poor performance in the film same as the rest of the cast. I believe he should stick to comedy instead of action. The movie is also very bad written and got tons of annoying things in it. In the film people can run even they get shot in the leg, they never have to reload their guns and the best part is they can hack the government by only typing a few words at a keyboard.
The story is about a very smart hacker named Mike Cleary (Rob Lowe) he and his team has to hack the government to find out what they are hiding and he finds out that his government is corrupt. He now has to flee from his own government.
The story is acceptable but all the error in the movie makes it all wasted. They also use super unrealistic weapons in the film and movie takes place in 1997, it is not a Sci-Fi movie. This is overall a very bad film and not recommended.

The Grass Harp was directed by Charles Matthau and released in 1998. Charles Matthau won the Family Film Award for this movie in 1996 for best director. The movie is however based on a novel written by Truman Capote. The movie was filmed in Wetumpka, Alabama, USA. The cast of the movie is not good but far from bad. We have actors like Piper Laurie, Sissy Spacek, Walter Matthau, Edward Furlong and Nell Carter. The rest of the cast also okay but nothing to brag about, Piper Laurie also won an award for Best Supporting Actress by SEFCA Awards in 1997. She really deserved this reward, her performance in the movie is really good.
The story is about Collin Fenwick, after his mother dies he goes to live with his father cousins. His father cousins are wealthy and rich people. There they live in a tree house and refuses to come down. The story is rather complicated but if you understand it the movie offers you great entertainment.
The movie is overall good but it is filmed in black and white. This makes it boring for my taste but it also gives the movie a somewhat retro and old fashion look which some people might find enjoyable.
