Star Struck (1994)

Star Struck was directed by Emmy nominated Jim Drake and written by Jimmy Zeilinger and Scott Posner. The film was released upon America on 30 October 1994. The movie was filmed in Alabama but I don’t know exactly where in Alabama the filming took place. The cast of the movie is rather unknown, Kirk Cameron plays in the mail role as Runner and next to him is Chelsea Noble which plays Robyn Call.
The film is a romantic comedy with a simple and easy story. The script is however poorly written and sometimes it is hard to understand what the actors really mean with their lines. Runner and Robyn was however summer camp sweethearts but she turned out to be a Hollywood superstar while Runner stayed at his farm milking his cows. His granny tells him to go to Hollywood to meet Robyn again and get her back, when he takes his granny’s advices and seeks her out Robyn does not recognize him. He gets a job as her gofer and tries to do everything so that Robyn will fall in love with him all over again. So as you see the story is pretty cheesy but quite acceptable at some points.
