New Orleans Police give less information to bloggers

crime New Orleans policeCrime reported to NOPD will not get updated information anymore from the New Orleans Police Department. They say they will provide the information but it will come slower and it will not be so much detailed as before.
NOPD have been giving people in the New Orleans area a detailed crime map and news about recent crime trough blogs. Something that the people living in the New Orleans area really appreciated.
They also put names and face on the people behind the crimes something maybe some of them did not like that much from what I understand.
Kahler the guy how started the blog said he was worried that police will hide information but would continue making sure people got the information they should have. He would provide as much as he could.
