This is a 1620 minute mini series directed by Dan Curtis and Tommy Gorszman. The movie was released on 13 November 1988 and filmed almost all over the world, most importantly in Mobile, Alabama, USA. The series was an amazing hit in USA and it won 3 Golden Globes, 1 Eddie, 1 ASC Award, 1 DGA Award, 1 Emmy, 1 PGA Hall of Fame - Television Programs and 1 People’s Choice Award. The series was also nominated for 17 other rewards. The cast offers you good actors like Robert Mitchum, Jane Seymour, Hart Bochner and Victoria Tennant.

The series plot revolves around the lives of two families, the Jastrows and the Henrys. Byron Henry and Natalie Jastrow decide to get married under the Second World War and this brings the two families close. Both of the families have family members in the war and you get to follow each person on their journey.

This series offers amazing screenplay and a beautiful and interesting story and it really shows you everything about WW2. You get to see Byron Henry’s life on a submarine in the Pacific, Warren Henry as a Naval Pilot, Natalie Jastrow as an American Jew in Europe trying to escape the Nazis and tons of other characters and stories.
