Even if the old movie is about American soldiers bombing Germany in daylight it is actually recorded or partly recorded in Alabama. They also use real film from the actual bombings in the movie.
Its about a desk solider that get the changes to whip the crew of the bombing planes in to shape. They are not disciplined and out of focus because the so many planed have been shoot down by German fighter planes.
The movie Twelve O’Clock High was released in 1949 and directed by Henry King. Gregory Peck, Hugh Marlow and Gery Merrill are one of many actors.
